My Christmas Cake

Hey girls!

I'm not completely sure where to put this post so if any other Mods feel it's in the wrong department please feel free to move it!

It cam to my attention a little while ago frmo an Arizonian friend of mine that you Americans dont have Christmas Cake, so I thought I'd show you mine!  Christmas Cake is a traditional food that we Brits have and for me Winter just wouldn't be the same without it!  It is essentially a glorified fruit cake (I assume you have fruit cake?) that has been fed with brandy and then had a layer of marzipan and then a layer of royal icing.  They are decorated usually in festive colours, often with snowmen/holly and berries/red/gold ribbon, but this year, for teh first time, I have decorated mine a little differently.  It is not very festive, but is pretty and I think reflects my taste a lot!  Anyway, here is a picture, I hope you like it!
