Hey all, thanks for the birthday wishes! It was a GREAT birthday. I am now a mature woman of 50 - now eligible to join the Red Hat Society Andy and the church threw me a surprise birthday party on Sunday - lots of cake and presents!
But the best present of all I received a few months early - my beloved baby Rufus!
Yes, the original plan was we would get a chi NEXT summer - he or she was to be a combined 50th birthday, 30th wedding anniversary (1/08) and 10th ordination anniversary (5/07) present.
But our favorite mommy had her first litter, and one of her puppies looked just like her. That was it - we had to have him!
