so yesterday morning my chi honey had a puppy at about 7:00 a.m., it was a girl, and then at 5:30 p.m. shes still pushing but no puppy?? so i checked her and could see a puppy, but couldn't get it. so i rushed her to the vet, they couldn't get it either. so they did a emergency c-section, and found 2 more puppies. the one that was caught in the canal wasn't breathing, but they revived it, and so at the end of it all she had 3 healthy puppies, all girls!!! it all went so fast and my heart was beating so hard all last night, i was so scared for her and the babies.but everything is ok now and everyone is doin good
Awwww...im so sorry to hear about your baby having so much trouble, and you being so worried. But I am very happy to hear that all the pups made it and everyone is ok. Congrats on all your new additions:)
WOW! What an eventful day!! And scary too... I have to say that you did good in making sure she got prompt vet attention. Congrats on the new babies... lookin forward to seeing some pics of the little gals!!!
Thank goodness Honey and the babies are well... I know it was a very scary time for you and for Honey... Unfortunately, chis can be prone to birthing problems when the pups have a large head or aren't positioned correctly in the birth canal.. Thank the Lord you got her to the vet in time to save both Honey and the baby. Deb
