Wow...hope he is ok. I get to see the hospital helicopter at work take off and land alot. We just dont like hearing it start up because it means something very wrong has happened.
Yea, it is like the third time this has happened, someone is telling me that the other reason why they show up is that someone got shot. But yea, definately not what you want to see, but exciting all the same.
I hate living here in the city because at my boyfriend's house something crazy is always happening on the street. I just moved back into my mom's house, and I couldnt stand it over in his part of town anymore. I hate places where you have to get up and run to the door just because you hear a noise and want to make sure that no one is doing something to your stuff... and most of the times they ARE doing something to your stuff.
Then I hate when someone has to call for an ambulance or something similar to what you opened your door and saw... and all of the neighbors just start making up stories about what happened. Too much gossip! But I really do hope that he's going to be okay!!
You are so right... there is not a day that goes by I don't wish I was living out in the country some where... that is why when I retire... I'm gonna go to Deb's house!!!
It is crazy around here at times... it was not that long ago that a car drove up into the yard and into the guys house across the street!

My dad lives in Washington state, all up in the mountains and surrounded by trees and you cant see anyone for miles and miles. I love it. And I miss the quiet so much.
That car on the lawn thing sounds nuts... what the heck??? LOL
When we first moved here... it was a nice quite little place. Then 2 years later.... a nightmare!!! A nightmare being that the street we live on became one of the busiest streets in Watauga and we have quite a bit of traffic running up and down the street. (Trust me, if we had any idea, we would have done it differently.) So the more traffic you have, the more chances that something will go wrong. We had a very nice Bonneville SSEI parked out on the street when some drunk kid ran into the back of it and totaled it. And then drove off!!! So yea, we in a good spot for action and drama!!!
We dont get much traffic down my mom's street, but at my boyfriend's - even though it's a small street - people go zipping down it like it's stutgart or something. A few months ago someone hit a dog that had gotten out of one of the neighbor's houses, and it was so terrible. I couldnt imagine it being someone's kid, because the kids totally run wild and free at all hours during the day and night.
I am currently apartment hunting, and I am hoping to find a place that is sort of dramatic... because then maybe it will chill out in a year or so... or that could backfire and it could just get worse...
Hey guys, Georgia is just kinda bland, I say we all go to Canada to Vickie's place!.. Since she is already a ChiAddict, maybe a few more won't be a problem... I mean I saw that beautiful scenery out her window and it looks like a perfect spot to me... And since I am already retired, keep a watch out Vickie~ Deb's gang is getting ready to travel...Lol

I grew up by a hospital and the sound of a helicopter doesn't phase me in the least. I love to watch it take off and land, so neat! We call ours 'the band-aid'. I have a lot of patients that either fly in to use via plane or the helicopter. Its a must up here in northern ontario.
My boyfriend's mom use to live up that way, Vik, and she was telling me all about that stuff. I've been to B.C. and Victoria, and I loved it up in Canada!! Sorry guys, I cant drive.... but I'll take a plane or a bus!! Chimi's a travelin' dog too! LOL
