At 7:30pm I ran out of sweets to dish out to trick or treaters! We must've had like ten lots of kids coming round to our house! :ohm: It's a new and novel experience for me as I have lived too far out in the sticks most of my life to encounter Halloween festivities! The furthest I ever got was carving pumpkins! So the only plans I have for tonight is to relax and dish out lolli-pops when asked!
I hope others who dressed up will post pics of themselves! I know you are out there, I remember a few of you telling us that were going to dress up for Halloween!
The family will be at my house (as they are every Halloween) to have Chinese food (I know, not very Halloweenie) and pass out candy. There is just one little one in the family now and she is 2 years old.
We don't get any kids here for halloween. I miss it. Back home in Canada, it was crazy at my house every year. The neighborhood just seemed to be chock full of kids. Our neighbors would dress up each year and have spooky thing going on in their garages. It was a blast! Here the kids mostly go to the schools and get treats. I guess they think it is too dangerous these days to trick or treat.
Well, we won't have much of a Halloween. Considering we are spending it in a hotel. Although, we will be celebrating tomorrow since it will be my birthday!
