I have a life - work, work, work - what I don't have is friends (a casuality of my career) so I really cherish my chi buds!
Hubby and I have been moving furniture for two days, had to switch my office to another room to make room for my mom, who may be coming to stay with us in the next few months. Fun, fun! I have tons of junk I need to sort out.
I have been thinking the exact same thing for the last few days! Where is everyone?!
I think I'm like you Jenn, I have no life! Like you, I'm disabled and consequently at home not able to do much, so CC is my life! Well, that and online shopping!
So Jenn, how do you entertain yourself durin the days? I have recently discovered EasyCinema, which is great! I also read a lot. And of ourse, Ellie takes a lot of my time! Perhaps we could swap time-filler suggestions!
Lin, you've moved your whole office for family coming to stay?! Now that's dedication girl! How's that gorgeous pup of yours? Isn't it about time we saw some photos of the little stinker?!
I've been visiting everyday, but we are so busy here at home. We're dealing with an undergroung water pipe leak, so we have not had any hot water for a week and it might be another week before the pipes are rerouted and fixed. In the mean time, the house is a mess because we have to move stuff to get to the walls where the pipes are and we have to open the walls up. So much work and money involved! So I will will visit, but not post to much for a week or so. But I'm still here.
Jess, the move was something we've wanted to do. We haven't been using the space in our house to our best advantage. This way we now have a "reading room" that can double as an extra guest room (when my brother comes with my mom) or a parlor for my mom if she chooses to stay for awhile.
I did take some new pics of Rufus - as soon as I can find my camera I'll post some new pics.
I am here. I have been busy working but been popping in to see what is going on. Friday my laptop burned out on me and could not be repaired so I had to get a new one and just got it set up today.
I have been "looming" around... been oncall this weekend and it has been busy. But I agree, a bit of a slow period. It happens on all forums... there are peaks and valleys in the activity. As our forum grows, then you wont see so many valleys, or they wont seem as deep.
But I'm here!!! And I am glad to see the others that have responded!!!
HI FRIENDS, Well I don't have a darn computer at my house or I would be on here 24/7. It takes me so long to catch up after my long weekends (I have Mondays off)heheh.
I've been sooooo busy for the past few days, so I haven't really been on much I have a job interview on Friday that I have been prepping for, and I've been busy with school work as well. I can't wait for things to start slowing down!
