WEDDING CRAP SORRY

Heya people! I need a little more advice if ya don't mind. Okay I want brown tablecloths and pink runners and my tin buckets with my pink daisies in them at the reception. Should my bridesmaids dresses be pink? OR can I use Latte dresses...but not have much more latte throughout the wedding?(cause I have a feeling latte color will be hard to find except for the dresses). Here is a pic of a really pretty pink and brown wedding, but we aren't going to go all out like they did.

Oh and I just wanted to share this farm wedding pic that is so pretty...

If my wedding was in the fall I would do this.

I am not going to give you any advice on the colors you should choose... I still need garanmials to help me coordinate my clothes/colors.  But I will say that the colors are beautiful together and I can't wait to see pics of your wedding.  I love the pics your posted too!

I love the brown and pink. Very unique. I never thought of putting those color together, but it works. IMO, the bridesmaids dresses should be pink. Also, I don't think this arraignment was over the top. If you look closely, getting pink napkins is easy. Brown table cloths might be hard to come by, but not impossible. Pink ribbons ties on chair backs are easy to do. The flower arraignments are a snap. I love this look!

Jennifer, I love pink. Brown will look very pretty with it. I think Brittany's idea of pink dresses with a brown sash would be pretty.

Speaking as someone who has dealt with WAY too many stressed out brides - I think the pink would be nice as long as you don't freak out about the pink dresses matching exactly the other pink items. And depending on the coloring of your bridesmaids, I also think the latte color would be very sophisticated.

My best advice is to simplify wherever you can so you can actually enjoy your day and not be paying for it for months or years afterwards!!!!

Looking forward to pics of the big event.

Blessings - Lin

I got my dress yesterday!!! It is a corset dress, so the back laces up. And it isn't white its called Diamond (so it isnt' BRIGHT white). And the very top has crystal things and pearls and then the rest of the dress is thin layers of lace all the way down. And it has a long train. It is really vintage looking and perfect for a farm wedding. It fits perfect too, all the other dress did not fit good on the top. And i get a free set of earings and necklace there too. The dress reminds me of an old fashion dress that they used to were back then. Its poofy.

Your dress sounds lovely!

A farm wedding huh? Does that mean outside? Time of year? Should be fun.

Oh, that's a lovely time of year. Again speaking as someone who's done way too many weddings - you do have a plan in case it rains? (it amazes me how many don't make an alternate plan and then have a stressful mess on their hands when the weather doesn't cooperate!)

On Saturday we are going to try it on again so I can pick out my earrings and necklace and veil so I'll have my mom take a pic! Evan got me a new engagement ring bc the first one was really cheap and it is supposed to be something I can wear for the rest of my life. BUT I don't have a pic but there is one on the stores (jcpenny) website. (This pic makes it look bigger then it is, its total weight is 1 carat)

It's so shiney!!!!  And sparkely!!!!  I think it is beautiful.... you should get a load of my wedding band.... cost us only $100 ($250) for both his and her rings.  We went cheap on the wedding and spent all our money on our new home.  (Oh, and a decent honeymoon.)

That's a beautiful ring!

Sattie, we went "cheap" too - our whole wedding cost us about $300 - of course, that was way back in 1978! We were both in the Air Force, stationed at two different bases, and Andy had orders to Germany, so we had to hurry up and get married so I could go with him. He proposed in November and we got married in January. So not alot of time to plan anything overboard. In the long run I was glad cause we kept it simple and really enjoyed ourselves.

Maybe we should start a wedding/engagement stories thread

I just looked and noticed that the dress I showed you all is the same dress I have, well it looks exactly the same to me. BUT here is pics of me in my dress, I don't have the right slip or bra on so it will be more poofy with the new slip. Hope you all like it!!! OH and Don't mind my weird faces, I wasn't trying to pose for the camera, lol.
