Phoenix was a an angel, one of those companions that you never forget. Her life was cut short by a left to right heart shunt. She was only with me for a few months and spent half of those testing to see what was wrong. My 2 year old still asks mommy where is Phoenix? and I have told him that she's in heaven but he still asks and looks up at her urn. She had a personality that was heart melting, she went everywhere with me , everyone loved her, even the guys in the bank. I think she was sent to me to experience real love and devotion before she went to heaven. I have many dogs and love them all dearly, but Phoenix and I had a bond that was different than any other dog I've ever had.she will never be forgotten

Hey girlie, I was thinking about you and Phoenix just the other day.  It still makes me sad to think about it and the loss you suffered.


My heart is still with you and I am glad you posted the memorial.

Oh man, the tears are coming. That was beautifully worded. Bless Phoenix! He/she is in Heaven with my 1st cat sophie and our 3 labs Bert, Molly and Gadget. I miss them so much.
