Hey Deb, how big are they???  About the size of a penny?  I know they have to be teeny tiny.  I am surprised you were able to get pics so soon.  But I am glad you did, thanks for sharing sweets!!!

There they are!!  They are so sweet:)  I wish our eggs had hatched:(  Maybe next time.  Oh by the way Deb, I found those birdie biscuits today at Petsmart, and gave the lovies one.  They haven't touched it yet, but hopefully by tomorrow they will start eating it.  The package said to put it in the bottom of the cage, but I was thinking...hmmmm...that doesn't sound to hygenic.  I clipped it to the side of the cage instead.  If they don't touch it by tomorrow, I will crumble it up in their food and see what happens.

Thanks for sharing the pics of the babies.  Are you going to keep them?

My sweet, but scrawny little babies...The third egg just disappeared... Guess it wasn't fertile or something.. Yea Sattie, they are tiny little buggers... Newf, glad you found the egg biscuits.. I do crumble mine up and put it in an extra seed cup next to their regular food. They are eating it a lot now to feed the babies...Will get more pics as the little ones grow.  Deb

Oh my gosh!  They're so tiny!  Do they make a lot of noise?  I remember when I bred hamsters I was astonished at how much noise they made.  Squeaking all the time!

Cant wait to see their development over the next few weeks.

Love, Jess x
