Every evening at about nine thirty, Ellie sort of just winds down and curls up, or takes herself off to bed (before me!) and goes to sleep. It is sooo cute! Does anyone else's Chi do this?
Our chi's definatley know bed time. We take them out to pee at about 10, then right when they come inside and Biscuit will go right for my room, if the door is open he will jump on my bed (he is such a good jumper I cant believe, i have a really high bed too) and hide udner the covers, or if the door is closed he will just sit outside the door.
Same thing with joey, however he cant jump on my moms bed so he just sits beside the bed and waits, or will go under the bed to hide.
Biscuit is the same way in the mornings, lucky for me I dont have to wake up till about 10 am so biscuit will wake up with me then, if I have to get up early every so often, he will keep sleeping untill Im ready to go, its too funny, when im doing my make up or in the shower, he goes back under the covers and stay sleeping. Hes a lazy boy, I wonder where he got that from ...
Boots does it on occasion, but mostly prefers to be with us. Binks sleeps where ever I will sit still long enough for him to get comfortable. I can't believe how much they sleep sometimes... it's nuts!
Well mine were in the habit of falling asleep around 9 or 9:30 PM. I had to try and make them stay up later though cause when they go to bed that early they get up at like 5:30 AM. OH NO...that is to early for me every morning. Now I really screwed them up cause I have had to work a few days here from 8:00Am to around 6:00 PM and then I had seminars two nights until 10:00 PM so they have had so much sleep that they want to be up during the night.
Well, here everyone is in bed at all different hours. I am up most of the night usually, but sometimes one or two of the chis will go to bed when their Dad does, but usually they go to bed only when I do.

Sattie, if she can possibly swing it, Ellie will curl up on me too! In the evening it's her favourite place to be when she dozes off. If I dont let her (like recently as she's been in season) she will go to her own bed. It is nuts how much they can sleep. I mean I sleep probably 16 out of 24 hours but I am ill! I have an excuse!
I wished I could sleep like that!!!!! When we got back from the coast, the two boys must of really been tuckered out. Binks fell fast asleep and he was dreaming so much! I wondered if he was dreaming about swimming in the ocean or not. It had to be an exciting (somewhat stressful) week for those guys.
Our guys are also funny about bedtime.. Rio, Buster, Neko and Spikey sleep with us.. Each has their own spot and they go to bed whenever I do... If I am up late they nap in the living room until they see me start turning off lights, and they line up in front of the "baby gate" and wait to be put over it so we can head to the bedroom. Bandit gets put in his playpen for the night and is so cute covering himself up with his "blankie." We have a futon that the girls sleep on, so Cocoa, Fancy and Abby snuggle up on it together. Charlie likes to sleep in one of the dog beds alone, but when cold weather comes he gets lots of company from the chis who like the warmth he puts off!!

Ain't nothing like it!! Having 7 chis is just seven time the love and joy.. Each one is so different and gives me their own special kind of devotion... I wouldn't trade them for gold. Deb

Radar starts napping around 8:00pm and then it over! Once he goes to sleep, he won't move for anything. If we want him to move, we have to pick him up and move him our selves! He cracks me up.
LOL, I've got a brilliant mental image of you and David tugging at Radar as hard as you can and him just oblivious and slumbering away, making it as difficult and himself as heavy, as possible! Too, too funny!
I guess we all now know the secret to Radar being such a handsome, and great model...lots of beauty sleep!
LoL. Radar also has a bad tendancy of growling when we do attempt to move him around. He is just too funny. It has to be all the napping that keeps him so handsome...LoL
Omg yes! I find sometimes when I get up early for dayshift (I get up at a 5:45am) I have to drag them out from underneath the covers. We had to buy a king sized bed to accomodate us all.
