Well we are back! We had so much fun! Harley did soooooo good! He loves the outdoors. I was to scared to let him run bc sometimes he runs really fast and i can't catch him. But we tied a rope to 2 trees and put his leash on it like a runner and he just walked around & played with sticks, he was so cute. I forgot my camera today but i have pics of him just sitting being a little watch dog. ANYWAYS heres the story.
Left on Sunday morning(it rained for a little while), on Monday we decided we wanted to stay another night and we'd just leave really early Tuesday bc we both had to work at 8am. So on Monday morning we drove all the way back home (45 min) to get Daisy and see if she'd be okay camping, got all the way back (Daisy barfed twice in the car) and Daisy just couldn't control herself. She was barking and crying, she'd go nuts when Evan we to the trash can or went to the bathroom. And there were deer right next to our tent and Daisy barked and scared them away (i think some other campers were mad) so we drove ALL THE WAY BACK HOME TO PUT HER IN OUR BACKYARD THEN DROVE ALL THE WAY BACK!(bc Evan wanted to enjoy himself) It was awfulllllllllllllllllllllllll. And while we were gone it poured and ruined all our wood we had just bought. But we got more and got a huge fire going. A ranger came by and asked if we heard any noises the night b4 bc someone heard something by the trashcans but there were no bear claws he said (i was freaking out). And it was really windy all night. We got up at 5:30 this morning, still pitch black, put up our tent and drive home. I got really car sick on the way home and now i am here at work. I am so tired i feel like i didnt get any sleep, i have huge dark circles under my eyes. But overall it was a good trip!
Wow, what a story! Poor Daisy... she missed out on a good time. I am taking my kids to the coast today and I am hoping for good results. About the only thing I am worried about is them barking when we go to eat and a gull picking up Binks for snack on the beach. Anyhow, sorry things did not go better with Daisy. But is sounds like your trip was rather eventful! Can't wait to see more pics.
I brought Mia to camp a few weeks ago too! But don't think she had fun... I was so busy organizing stuff (it wasn't just me and my hubby who went camping), so I had to leave her in her playpen most of the time. Lucky that many other ppl loved her so much that they put Mia on their laps whenever they could.
The bad thing about camping is that it was very cold at night... poor little Mia.
Dogs are unconditional LOVE!
I'm glad you all had a fun time of it though.
