I am sure some of you remember me mentioning that Radar has sores (scabs) from a fleas shampoo we used recently. Well, about a week ago I noticed that they were getting dry and flaking off. Now, his sores have all gone away. Thankfully, without a vet visit. I knew Radar's skin was sensitive, but I had no idea that a flea shampoo would "burn" him like that. But, I now realize just how sensitive his skin is, and will be more cautious.
I am sure they were uncomfy for him. I mean, he wasnt himself for a while there. But, now he is bak to his ole self, and being the center of attention. I know one thing, I learned my lesson! I was scared for him, but I am so thankful that he is all better!
Radar_Love, that is good news! Poor boy must've been in so much discomfort, unpleseant for him. And for you too sweetie! hugs to you both! Oh, and hey, dont beat yourself up over it, you had no idea his skin would react like that. Imagine how you would've felt had he got fleas! Much better to know and move on to a different treatment.
