I just wanted to show off my "Big Girl". This is Beauty, she is a Draft/Quarter Horse cross. Beauty has a gorgeous Fleabitten Grey coat, that seems to turn solid white in the winter. I bought her for only 400 dollars, which was one of the best investments I've made. She is such a wonderful horse...I have ridden her in my hometown parades, including the Christmas parades. Beauty is now around 20 years old, she has alittle age on her, but still in great shape. Currently she is staying at my sister's house about 20 minutes away from my home. Since we travel out of town most of the time, my sister and her in-laws agreed to care for her while I was out of town. I recently went to visit her, and she looks great. Anyway, here are a couple of Autumn pics...and a couple of Summer pics....Enjoy!!!
Oh Rosa she is beautiful, her name sure fits. I had a 5 gaited racking horse, Sundown, 30 years ago when I didn't have to worry about "crispy bones.!" I wouldn't dare try to ride now but still love to watch others ride....

We used to pasture my cousin's horses when I got my first colt a few years back. Including my colt, there were 13 that I had to assist in caring for. It was a job, but I loved every minute of it. Horses have been my thing since I was a little girl. And, Beauty is any little girl fantasy horse...so it worked out great!
