Hi everyone! Blinks from Dogster invited me to join the group. My name is Noel, but everyone calls me Shorty for some reason. I don't know why they don't call me "Cutie Pie" more often, cause I really like that. It's about time I find a place to post for Chihuahua's. I am soooo sick of hearing about the pugs, I can hardly stand it!
Welcome Shorty and Karen.. So very glad that you found us thanks to Sattie and Binks! We love chis, chi news, chi pics, chi stories, in fact... we love chi anything!. Can't wait to hear all about you and see some pics... Deb

Hey Karen and Shorty!!!! YEAH!!! Glad you are here!!! Shorty, now you can hang with us chis and we will do nothing but tell ya how cute you are, and how smart you are and how you are the KING!!!!
Welcome to both, can't wait to see more piccys and hear about all the stories... I am sure some of them will include pugs!!! LOL!
Welcome Karen and Cutie-pie! It's great to have you with us, I think you'll love it here; we'll gladly listen to any Chi stories, and you'll never be able to post enough pics for us lot! lol I look forward to chatting with you!
Well, thank you so much everyone for all the warm welcomes. We are having a bit of a rough week here due to having recently leaving a rescue group for the pugs. Just trying to get a new life on track. We definately could use some new friends that are just wanting to have fun and enjoy each other. Politics are definately not what we are looking for. Friendshios mean to much and the two don't mix. Thanks for being you. Trying to recover a broken heart, love Shorty and Karen
So sorry times have been difficult for you guys lately... Life can deal some hurtful blows at times..just gotta pick up the pieces and move ahead when it happens. We just enjoy our friendships and our chis here.. We really would love to see some pics of Shorty! Looking forward to hearing all about him and braggin' bout our guys too!! Deb

Well, since we are new to this site, we will have to test our smarts to see if our picture showed up. Well, suprise everyone, I am not a boy! Shorty, Noel, Cutie Pie- adorable baby girl!
HA!!! Ok, the QUEEN!!! Pardon me Shorty.... Shorty, please forgive me my dear!!!
No politics here... nothing but loving folks that can share in your up and down times and can always be here for you!!!
I will be praying for you in hopes for better times for you. As Deb stated, things tend to get rough at times, but having great friends makes it easier to deal with!!
Well, the stress was a bit more than I could take adn I ended up in the hospital Friday. Just got home this afternoon, but I am glad to be back. Will need a lot of rest for the first several days, but I will be checking in. Thanks so much everyone for all the great welcomes! My little Cutie Pie was soooo happy! She's been lying on her back in my arms wanting her chest scratched. It's so good to have the love of your babies! I don't know what I would do without it!
Karen, so glad you are home now.. and my prayers for your speedy recovery will be ongoing... Aren't chis wonderful?? Great medicine for a hurtin' heart... Deb

Three handsome male dogs are walking down the street when they see a beautiful, enticing, female Poodle.
The three male dogs fall all over themselves in an effort to be the one to reach her first, but end up arriving in front of her at the same time.
The ma les are speechless before her beauty, slobbering on themselves and hoping for just a glance from her in return.
Aware of her charms and her obvious effect on the three suitors, she decides to be kind and tells them, "The first one who can use the words 'liver' and 'cheese' together in an imaginative, intelligent sentence can go out with me."
The sturdy, muscular black Lab speaks up quickly and says, "I love liver and cheese."
"Oh, how child ish," said the Poodle. "That shows no imagination or intelligence whatsoever."
She turns to the tall, shiny Golden Retriever and says "How well can you do?"
"Um? well, I HATE liver and cheese," blurts the Golden Retriever.
"My, my," said the Poodle. "I guess it's hopeless. That's just as dumb as the Lab's sentence."
She then turns to the last of the three dogs and says, "How about you, little guy?"
The last of the three, tiny in stature but big in fame and finesse, is a Chihuahua.
He gives her a smile, a sly wink, turns to the Golden Retriever and the Lab and says...
