Poll: Gifts for Christmas

Maybe because it's our first year - we have gotten way carried away with goodies for Rufus. We have a puppy stocking for him and it's full! (The five cats share one stocking, does that give you an indication of how spoiled Rufus is?)

Of course, we don't have kids, so maybe that's a factor.

*Guilty*! We buy gifts for Ellie, and we do the same for Fred and Salvador (James' Tortoises) if they weren't hibernating! lol So far we've got her a new plain leather baby pink collar,

I'm thinking (but not telling James!) of also getting her a bowl made by Bombay Duck.

The girlies usually get something every year from us too. Well, me mostly, Greg just goes along with it. I am gonna try to losely wrap them and see if they want to open them up this year. They are all getting new jewelery and squeaky toys.

Chimi is definitely getting a little more than I had initially planned on... LOL. I even wanted to go out and get him his own tiny tree for our basement, but I thought that might be a bit overboard... He has two stockings and two trees already!! (One at grammy's house, the other at Daddy's house). I bought all of my mom's dogs gifts already, and I bought my other dogs gifts too, and chimi has more than all of them!

We also went to a Chihuahua Meetup Party in our area where they did a puppy pollyana for the pups, and Chimi got a HUGE bag with gifts and treats packed into it!! He kept on jumping up in the air at the party, expecting to get them right that instant, but he has to wait for Christmas! He was not happy to hear that...

Pollyana is something that alot of people do gift wise for Christmas parties. People bring one gift each (usually around $10-15) and they all go into a pile, and they get distributed equally among the guests to make sure that everyone has something. It's a pretty good idea... and even cuter of an idea for dogs. Chimi got this really big bag full of about 6 toys, and three different bags of treats... I was like WOAH!! LOL.

From me, Chimi got this ADORABLE set of Sushi toys that looks like little doggie sushis! There are about three toys in the set, and he also got a black sweatshirt with a camoflauge skull on the back of it. He has tons and TONS of treats and bones for his stocking, and he also got this cute little toy fish that looks like a gold fish. He got a new sparkly liscence for his collar, and a tiny little pair of booties, a new sweater, a Christmas vest to wear that has this adorable white furry trim around the neckline, a spiked collar... and I think that's it... LOL! No doubt as to where all of my money goes!!

Oh no Sattie! You are a brilliant Mum! Your dogs get your love 365 days a year and you house them, feed them, and they love you very much! Just because we're all silly, doen't mean you need to be; you give your dogs everything! Millions of dogs would wish for what you give Boots and Binks.

I WISH I got him those booties! Chimi's look sort of like Ellie's, but they are blue and white, and I got them from our favorite pet boutique here... I've decided to see if he likes the blue cheaper booties before I buy the converse booties...
