YOSHI!!!

My boyfriend thought that the idea of Chimi having a litter box at his house was dumb... and he hated when we had a cat because of the smell. Once he noticed that Chimi's box does not stink, and that it works great on those bad weather days, he sort of started to get into it.... until my crested, Yoshi started to eat the litter.

I know the litter's not harmful, but he's making messes with it all over the house! What can I do about this!? Yoshi also eats poo poo out of the yard from the other dogs, and it's all so gross! Any suggestions??

Hey, Booter is having the same issue.  He does not want to go outside to relieve himself anymore, he just wants to go eat treats!!!  Here is what I do:

Pick up the poo in the yard.  (Yes it is kinda messy, but only takes about 5 minutes a day)  I would do the same with your litter box, scoop it out right after they use it.  Also, consider a diet change.  Often times they are seeking something (I can't imagine what) that they are not getting in their diet.  I am currently in the process of switching Boots from Eukunuba to Blue Buffalo senior formula.  He is about 90% switched.  In about 2 more weeks, I should be able to say if this has helped or not.

HTH!

Thanks Sattie... LOL.

I clean the yard a lot... but one of the problems is that I'm not always at the bf's house to do it... and he's allergic to dog poop or something. LOL. But I clean Chimi's box right after he goes in it, and Yoshi is still fascinated with this litter... I have no idea.... LOL.
