My name is Billy and I am about 13 years old. I came from Elko, NV where I lived with some half-wits who got me for their 10 year old son during the Taco Bell craze... yeah, whatever.
They didn't know that we chihuahuas don't really dig on kids who like to play rough. To express my displeasure, I learned to snarl and snap at people. I also started peeing in the house. Much to my dismay, all that got me was banished to the very cold outdoors. I would have to snuggle in with their Border Collies (a most unsophisticated bunch) just to survive.
Thank GOD the neighbors, who happened to run Dog Town Canine Rescue, offered to take me off their hands. Since I am such an awesome dog, they decided to keep me as one of their own. I pretty much rule the house, and I am the alpha over 19 other dogs, some of them are pretty big. I still get naughty once in a while and like to pee on the kitchen table, and on the walls, but my new parents are pretty good about it.
We moved to Carson City from Elko in January 2006, and I must say I enjoy the nicer weather. Still isn't as nice as in Mexico, but what the hell, I spend most of the day in the house anyway.
Hello to you Billy. You are such a lucky dog to find a good home with wonderful people. There is one rule here that all our chis have to obey. No peeing in the Cabana. Welcome little one.
Hi Billy! You sound like one fiesty guy!! Just like a few of my boys!
Chimi and I are so glad that you found a great forever home, and Chimi wants you to tell him more details about that peeing on the kitchen table, and being in charge of a pack of 19 other dogs! He says "Wow Billy! I want to be all-powerful like you one day!!!" LOL!
Welcome aboard Billy! It sounds like you've had a very interesting life so far! I bet you have a lot of funny tales to share, which I will look forward to!
Welcome Billy... sounds like you certainly had your share of trouble before finding your forever home... I wish more people understood that animals have feelings, suffer pain and need love just like humans do... Glad you found a wonderful family and glad you found us.. Deb
