It was a fantastic week, hard work but lots of fun. The day I left they had processed over 800,000 Christmas shoeboxes out of the expected 7.8 million this year. There are other processing centers, of course.
Sadly on the day I flew out (last Monday) we hit a deer on the way to the airport. Hubby and I weren't hurt, but it did $6,000 damage to the car. Thankfully, insurance covers all but $100.
Now I need to check the other threads and see what I've been missing!
Hey Lin, glad you are back. What a tragic thing to happen, it has to be sad to hit such a beautiful animal and then find out the damage it did... ouch!!! None the less, the important this is that you are safe and unhurt. I am just glad that you are back!!!! We missed you!!!!
