Hawaiian Christmas Stockings

I saw this in a local Walmart ad this morning. Had to chuckle.

Check out the lady stocking. She has a flower tattoo on her ankle.

Those are fitting with the times and the weather!!!  I suppose that is about all you would need in Hawaii.  Those are much too cute!

Does everyone know these are stockings to put above the fireplace to put goodies in? (we don't have fireplaces in Hawaii)

So where do you hang your stockings?  More importantly, how does santa get in the house?

Where do we hang our stockings? I have no idea, usually on a wall near the tree. And here comes Santa.....

Those are too neat!  I didn't know you dont have fireplaces in Hawaii. Learn something new everyday.  I just assumed you could have one in your house if you wanted one..lol  We have one in our house here in Texas.  Not that we use it mind ya...but we have one for show..lol

Fireplaces aren't too common down here either... my parents' bought one of the fake fireplaces with the moving flame because they missed having one!

We do have fireplaces here but they are few and far between. Houses that are up on the mountains or in higher elevations do have them.

I didnt know that most places in Hawaii didnt have fire places either. Kind of like Newf, I figured you'd just get one if you wanted one.

But it does make sense for people at higher elevations to have one, since they would get a cooler climate.

Hawaii does have snow every winter on the 3 tallest volcanoes, Mauna Loa, Mauna Kea, and Haleakala. Here is a picture of snow on Mauna Kea.
