Oh yes, they sure do. Even my friend's son his 5 years old and he even tried to go all the way up, he put one foot on the first step and then his hand on top of the bunk to hold on. And I was like nooooo! Don't go any further you'll break it. So I have to be very careful whenever little children come to my house because my babies cute little condo (as I like to call it) attracts attention to them little kids and they start to messing with.

I actually bought it online from Targert, if you go to the store they dont carry it, it's only online.
