Hi dear chi friends - thanks so much for all your expressions of caring and sympathy.
My family and I are doing okay, all things considered. Dad had been sick for some time, so this was not unexpected. Services went well (I did NOT do them!) and as often happens, this was both a sad and happy time, as we had reunion with old friends and family members.
Rufus had a great time while we were gone, he stayed with his honoarary grandparents here in town. They spoiled him, of course. But it sure was good to get home to our baby! He had his final set of shots today, so he's a bit sore and sleepy.
It will take me a few days to get caught up - I have a cremation burial this afternoon, then a viewing, and then a wedding rehearsal tomorrow and wedding Saturday. So I'll talk to you all over the weekend!
Welcome home Lin, it's good to have you back! We all missed you a lot, and thought about you a lot too. I am glad things went as well as they could have. It's odd, but so true, how even a situation like this can can be bitter/sweet from seeing all the rellies!
Sounds like your feet wont touch the ground much in the next few days, so I'll speak with you again once life has calmed down a bit. I hope it all goes well. Keep your pecker up sweetie, lots of love x
Nice to have yu back Lin! You and your family have been in my prayers all through your hard time. try and take it easy, althgouh it sounds like you will be very busy. Take time for yourself, you deserve it!
