I just got a bad scare. Earthquakes are very very rare on this island. I think this is the second one I felt in my lifetime here . The first one was just a little shaker. This one rattled my house. Then we lost power for 10 hours. Very uncomfortable with the heavy rain and humidity that we had all day. This morning the rain and humidity is still with us, but we can turn on the ac.

I was over on DC looking around and of course you have some concerned folks there as well.  I can't imagine the feeling of the earth moving under your feet or something shaking your entire house.  Then to lose power... I mean really, how in the heck do you know what is really happening????  I am glad you guys are ok, it still freaks me out to think about it.
