I just wanted to let you all see the collar I received from Collar Mania.  It was the website I posted about in another thread.  They made it and sent it to me for free so I could test it out on small chis like Chuwee. I have to tell you guys that I love this collar.  It has ultra suede on the inside that makes it very soft and nice against his neck.  The fabric on the outside is so colorful.  I love it!!  It is very well put together.  Lisa, the lady at Collar Mania wants to start designing more collars for small dogs.  She will special order anything if it is possible for her.


Anyways, here is Mr. Chuwee and his new collar.:)

Newf, I really love that collar... So she can make them in small chi sizes? Can you tell me the width of that one? Would you PM me the link again... Chewee looks so adorable in that fabric.. Thanks Deb

Ooh, hey that's pretty cool!  Mind you, I think Chuwee could model a binliner and he'd still be handsome!  Think I might go and check out that website again!    I really like it, and love the idea of having something unique!

Hey newf, that collar is pretty nifty!!!  I may just have to get my guys some custom made collars. I like how it looks... and Chuwee looks handsome as always!!!

Thanks everyone for the nice compliments.  I think he looks rather dapper in that collar myself:)


Deb, the width on that one is just shy of 3/4 inch.  I think any bigger for him, and it wouldn't look that good. She has smaller ribbon ones, and lots of different designs.  You can email her with any questions you have about sizes and patterns etc.  She is quick in answering back as well.  The prices aren't that bad either.  I think she said this one would be $12 dollars plus shipping. But don't quote me on that price.

If you see something you like, and it's not in the right size range, just email her.  She will tell you if she can do it or not.  It doesn't hurt to ask.  That's how I got this one made.  The pattern wasn't in the smaller size collars, so I thought, why not just ask.


I am going to order another one for Zip once I figure out what colors I want to get for her.

Chuwee looks very handsome in his new collar! I love the suede you mentioned! That must make it much more comfy for them. I will definately have to check out that website. Radar needs a new, stylish collar.

Radar..the suede is very nice on the inside.  It feels good to me, so I figure it must feel good to him.


I love the colors she has on that site.  They are very different than what you get at the pet store.
