Hi Friends - it's 3:00 in the morning on Friday the 13th. My father died a few hours ago. He was 71, fighting lung cancer, but died of congestive heart failure.
My husband and I need to get loose ends tied up and go to Connecticut for the funeral (about 8 hours away). Rufus will be staying with his honorary grandparents here in town.
So I'll be checking out for a few days. Please be in prayer for my mom Joan, my brother Steve, and of course myself and my husband Andy!
Lin, I will be praying for you and your family during your time of grief as well as for traveiling mercy on your trip. Please know that we are here for you.
