My New Endeavor: Catus Garden!

I just started my very own cactus gardeN! They are very sturdy, and actually DONT need to be watered but like once every 1-2 weeks! So you cant kill it by forgeting to water! You kill it by over watering! O.o lol. Here is a pictue of it ( I bought seperate lil cacti and put together in a pot!) They will eventually ( 10-20 years) grow to 7-10 ft tall! lol obviously planted in the ground by that time! Ill post more pics as soon as they flower!

That's pretty!  I love that!  I was always really into Bonsai trees, I had one once, but with all the animals here, I didn't try to keep on with them.  I hate it though, I really love plants! Good luck with the Catus!

That's awesome! There is some random cactus growing at the bottom of this tree near my driveway.

Love your cactus... I had  two long dishes with beautiful catus on a table set in the backyard, until Bear moved in out there.  He turned the table over and destroyed everything...Deb

I'm not a huge fan of Cactis, I keep threatening to throw out James' 15 year old ones, but that is quite pretty!  I think it's the different colours, or maybe that they're so teeny and cute!  James has several, but they're just big, green, prickly and boring!    I'm an Orchid gal!

Love, Jess x

I love catus. They grow very well in my hot climate. I can't wait to see your garden flower. I love that pretty red one. I'll have to put some of those in my garden. Here is some of my cactus and also a pic of a white anthurium.

Oh Linda, your plants are lovely!  I hvae some similar ones but I know them as succulent plants.  Mine come from somewhere hot too, so they dont need much water and seem to thrive on neglect.  Which is lucky as I am hopeless at remembering to water my plants!    I'll hvae to get some photos of them to show you guys! x
