As some of you may know i am getting married next April 21st. And i really want to somehow put Harley in the wedding. He will be almost 1 by then. Can you all give me some ideas on how to have him in it? My neice, Rylee is my flowergirl and we don't have a ring bearer. So i don't know if Rylee should just (Try) walk him on a leash down the isle, hopefully he will be okay on a leash by then. Well just give me ANY suggestions about it, i don't have a wedding coordinator and i don't know what the heck im doing. ( the wedding is outside on a farm in from of a gazebo and a little pond, and the reception is in a barn style pavillion)
This first thing I can see is you walking dow the "aisle" with little Harley dragging along behind you chewing on your dress!!!! His playful nature gets him a bad wrap!!! Anywho, enough with the funnies!!! Congrats on your wonderful occasion to be! As for ideas on how to include Harley in the wedding, it kinda depends on how he is with large groups of people, most of which will be strange to him. Plus there is gonna be alot of excitement, the excitement could keep Harley distracted and he may not do what you hoped he had do. Walking him on a leash may work, (have you done any practice runs to see how he reacts?)
I am most certain that you will get more replies and better ideas than what I have offered.
I am most excited for you!!!! It will be a wonderful day!
How about having the flower girl pull him in a wagon (which would go great with a farm style wedding), just in case he gets cold feet. Of course you can decorate the wagon with your wedding colors. I love weddings and just planned one two years ago so if I can answer any questions I'd love to help. Congrats!
Hey Alison I love the idea of the decorated wagon with Harley riding in it! Course they will have to practice riding in the wagon to get him to stay in it... Could have the ring pillow in the wagon with him.. Wouldn't he be a little doll??? Deb

Yeah i thought about the wagon thing, i just dont know if he would jump out, i guess we would just have to wait and see how he acts in 7 months. And if the day of he is acting skidish then i could just have my mom hold him or something during the ceremony.During the reception i guess we would jsut have to crate him. BUT KEEP THE IDEAS COMING!
Second - I think that is SOOO sweet you want Harley in the wedding, and I think the wagon idea is adorable. Check out some of Radar_Love's older pictures. There is one of him in a "tux" that is too cute for words. Harley would be handsome in one as well :)
I agree, having him in the wedding is so sweet! Also, I LOVE the wagon idea! You have time enough to train him to sit in the wagon if that idea is something you want to do. Congrats and good luck!
If he won't stay in the wagon, maybe a member of your Bridal party could hold him instead. That is if he's ok with the person holding him. You'll definately have to get him a bow tie like Radar's.
