Reading List

Foods Pets Die For by Ann N. Martin

You'll be amazed what actually goes into your pets food.

I've got a few more, but not right here, so I'm not sure of the exact titles.

Yeah, I have Chihuahuas for Dummies. It is a good book, I just wish I bought it before I got my chis.

Yes, I echo the praise for Chihuahuas for Dummies - also Puppies for Dummies and Housetraining for Dummies (Hi, I'm Lin... and I'm a Dummy)

I have just about every book written on Chis - some are helpful, others aren't!

Haha I have the Chihuahuas for Dummies! Love that book! It's like a Chihuahua bible!!!

Is Puppies for Dummies really good? Mia is now 5 months... should I still invest in the book?

I also like the: Maran illustrated: Dog training

It gives you lots of idea on what you can teach you dog.

Yes, I've enjoyed Puppies for dummies too - think it would still be worth it for you - maybe you can get a used copy (I ordered mine from Amazon.com) saves a bit of $$$.

I just bought the Maran illustrated puppies. I need the illustrations - poor Rufus, I'm so clueless!

Do you like the Maran illustrated? I like that book! Before I read that book, there were so many commands that I didn't know what/how to do.. but with pictures it certainly helped!

I've just requested the Puppies for Dummies at a library! I hope I can borrow that soon!

Yes, I like the Maran illustrated. As I said, I need the pictures. I've got Rufus in puppy K, but the teacher goes so fast, and it's hard to watch what she is doing and hold Rufus at the same time, he's such a wiggle-worm right now.

Enjoy Puppies for Dummies!

(And there's no shame in being a fellow Dummy!!!)

I bought 'A New Owners Guide to Chihuahuas' by Marion Mondshine a few years ago at Crufts when I went on the Toy day.  I found it very useful, have read it cover to cover!  Any other Chi books I've read have just been on lease from the library.  Do you guys reccomend I buy 'Chihuahuas for Dummies'?  I dont know it.

You know, I reckon between us all we could write a book on Chihuahuas!

Love, Jess x

Hi Jess, yes I have the Mondshine book and do think it's a good one.

But Chihuahuas for Dummies truly is excellent. I do highly recommend it!
