I had lived with my ****atiel, Acey, for 15 years and I recently lost him to old age....After staring at the empty bird cage for a couple of weeks, I went and bought a pair of Zebra finches and all the "finch stuff" that you have to provide them.... Well to make a long story short, the male has built a nest and the hen has starting nesting in there most of the time....Maybe we are going to have some 'New" babies around here.... I have been surfing all the Zebra finch sites I can find since it has been many years since I have raised birds....Will keep you updated.

I have always loved finches and thought they were the most beautiful birds. I am also sorry about your loss, I find it amazing that birds live as long as they do. I think it is great that they are nesting.... any chance for some pics???? Here I am asking for pics and I have not posted a single one yet!
I'll be glad to post some pics as soon as I learn how to do it here. I don't have a photobucket account and went there to set one up. I just can't figure out how to get my pics from my computer into photobucket!!!!! I'll keep trying and post as soon as I get the hang of it..lol

Hey Deb, I thought it was very simple, when I logged into my PB account, the first thing I see is a browse button to navigate to the photos I want to upload. There is also a mult photo feature where you can upload more than one photo at a time. Let me know if you have any questions.... I know you can do it DEB!!!!! You go girl!
