home alone??

I've been wondering about this for a while. I do work part time so my baby chi will have to be left at home alone a couple times a week (lol i was looking for a job for a while that I could bring her to when she has full shots but dosnt look like i'll find one). I just feel so bad leaving her home (my shifts are realitvly short and in the afternoon/evening, eg 4-6hrs). Is thre any precautions I should take when leaving her home? Will she be fine on her own for that long? Any comments would be great, im a little frazzled about this haha. Thanks...

My advice would be to get her an X-Pen. You can put her kennel with the door open in there for her to sleep in, toys, her food and water, a pee pad and be confident that she will be completely safe while you are gone. It is good for them to be alone here and there, and to learn to amuse themselves, so don't feel guilty! She might even cry a bit the first few times you leave, but as I have learned, they will live! (Merrie screamed for 45 minutes one day, gave herself an upset tummy from it, and recovered fine, though I never did, LOL!) Mine stay in there overnight, or if I go out in the day, it is like thier oven little home to them now, and never have a problem with being left alone. It is gertting pretty close to they day Ayvee is coming homw isn't it? You must be on pins and needles with excitement!!
