Awwww, don't worry Stacey, Merrie loves my feet, and Kona loves Deb's feet too. Deb and I were discussing that earlier tonight believe it or not! As for how to stop it, I haven't figured it out yet, but let me know what you find out, my toes will appreciate it, lol!
Oooh, yeah I remember that! Ouch! lol Ellie did this a LOT as a pup, but if you make it clear you dont like it, in the same way you would if she bit you anywher else, she should grow out of it. Unfortunately I dont have any other advise to offer-sorry!
You need to loudly and meaningfully say NO when she is about to go for your feet. Give her time out for a few seconds in her kennel or x-pen then repeat. When she does what she is suppose to, be sure to give her praise!!
PIcture Corona as a Saint Bernard. Would you let her get away with it then? Make a loud sound such a clap or slap on table when you say "NO!" so she associates negative consequences with her behaviour. Don't let her get away with being bad now as you're allowing bad habits to form. It is NOT cute. It can also be dangerous, as she needs to learn to stay away from your feet when you are in motion.
LOL.... she's a happy puppy!!! It is very important to correct the undesired behaviour as soon as she does it. So if she goes for your toes, say NO loudly to get her attention and then a 10 to 15 second time out. She sounds like she is a smart puppy, so she should catch on in no time at all as you have indicated Ana.... loving hearing that things are going so well!!!
lol.. giggling here too cute... My girlies grew out of it esp after a lot of loud "NO"s. They know my happy voice and my 'oh no you didn't' voice. It's important they figure out that early on.
