Well, we have a new addition to our household. We brought home an African Grey, being told she was probably a boy we named him Fagan. Turns out after all the blood tests were done that HE is a She and she is healthy and happy. So we changed her name to Luna.. Bella Luna as she shimmers likes a silver moon. She is so funny. My friend has a bird shop here, and has had this one ever since she was born, and she hand raised her. Problem was with her, that she bit everyone that came near her including myself, until one day she let me pet her. Annie said she picked me as her person, and that was that. She wouldn't let anyone else near her. Sooooo after much consideration, we brought her home. I was afraid that someone would buy her and she would bite them, and be stuck in a cage for the rest of her life. She is only five months old, so she is still young. She is getting used to hubby too. Although she has never bit him, she sure makes a racket when he picks her up..lol She is definitely a character which is why we love her so much.
Luna is gorgeous, Newfie..She is so healthy and shiney looking with that great red tail! She appears to be quite curious and checking out everything she can reach..lol Typical female, huh??? Congrats on the wonderful new addition.. Deb

Newf... she is absolutely beautiful!!!! I have always liked these and thought they are stunning. So how many birdies you got now? GIrl, you are right on track with Deb in having a small petting zoo going on!!!
lol sattie..she is IT!! no more critters unless we move to a farm..lol Luna is so kewl. She is wolf whistling now and she is only just over five months old. She wont stay on her perch in the livingroom. If i put her there and go to do something else..the next thing I hear is a thump and she is on the floor walking around the house looking for me. She has already figured out if I am not in the livingroom, I am in the computer room, and that is the first place she heads. She cracks me up.
aw, conrats on your new addition, she is adorable! my sister ended up with an umbrella ****atoo that way from the petstore she worked at 12 years ago, she wouldn't eat unless my sister was there, so when she quit, they had to sell her the bird.
